Antique Chinese Carved Wooden Window Shutter Panel in Pink Lacquer

This listing is for an antique Chinese wooden shutter. The shutter dates to the late 19th century (Qing Dynasty) and is hand carved from wood. This shutter has been turned into a decorative wall hanging or panel with traditional metal hardware on top. Most unique about this piece is the fact that it lacquered with hot pink. The gallery featured a variety of antiques from East Asia that had been given modern twists to. Appeal to a younger crowd. This is a real piece of art and it's certainly eye catching. The panel itself is 15 x 38 inches. The metal hardware that it hangs from adds an additional 2 inches. With the hardware included, the overall dimensions are 15 x 40 x 1.25 inches. This piece was lacquered in hot pink around 2021. The panel is in overall good condition - a few minor scratches.

The lattice work has a few cracks and blemishes from normal wear and age. It's not too noticeable as the pink lacquer seems to obscure them. Please see photos for details.
