This design landscape was typical of old Japanese seaside scenery. Red signed on the backside of the lid is by Kenchusai??? 1919 to 2015 who was the 12th generation of line of the Horinouchi family.

The Horinouchi family (Horinouchi-ke) were a hereditary tea family who served as tea masters. Under the Omotesenke for many generations. This is Japanese Traditional Lacquer Wooden tea caddy.

Shiogama makie O-Natsume / Inside has Nashiji. This is in an Excellent condition with signed Wooden box. This piece of measures: 3.110 inched (7.9 cm) in diameter. 3.228 inched (8.2 cm) in height.

Backside of the cover, title written by Kenchusai. (Soukan) means; Horinouchi Soukan = Kenshusai.
