Japan WAJIMA Lacquer Wooden Tea caddy Exquisite Chinkin by Iwaji Kadono (0216)

A Person of integrity being particular about collection. 1925 April 11th to 2013 September 12th.

He was a famous WAJIMA Lacquer artist who had skillful command of Chinkin-Damascening. Followings are summarize his career. 13 times prize careers at the Nitten Exhibition (Japan Fine Arts Exhibition). He also joined the panel of the Nitten Exhibition.

Displayed his work in Berliner Festspiele in 1965. Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon (2 times).

Japanese Prime Minister's Award (2 times at 1982 and 1985). This is an Excellent condition with signed Wooden box. This piece of measures: 2.835 inched (7.2 cm) in diameter. 2.874 inched (7.3 cm) in height. Including wooden box: 188 g.
