Stunning Craftsmanship tea caddy / Inside has Nashiji. Spread gold dust which is spread thinly on the top of lacquer, and after drying, yellowish clear urushi lacquer which is called Nashiji urushi is applied many times and polishing by special charcoal. So that the Gold dust can be seen through the urushi lacquer. This is a Japanese Traditional Lacquer Wooden Tea caddy.

Koudaiji makie Rikyu-Natsume / Stunning craftsmanship. This is a Very Good / seems Unused condition with signed Wooden box. This piece of measures: 2.874 inched (7.3 cm) in diameter. 2.913 inched (7.4 cm) in height. Including signed Wooden box: 184 g.
